COVID-19: Additional Guidance for Lawn Bowls Issued: 31st July 2020

STATEMENT: MEMBERSHIP, NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AND NATIONAL COMPETITIONS 2021

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected most countries throughout the world and unfortunately, it appears that the most vulnerable to this awful disease are the people in the 65 - 75+ age brackets with deaths  in the 65 -74 range accounting for 24.9% and 75+ range accounting for 48.7%, which for the majority of bowls members means trouble!

Now it isn't a fact that ALL bowls members fall into these age brackets, but a great proportion of our club members do and therefore we are particularly concerned with ensuring ALL of our club members are safe.  It is for this reason, that BOWLS ENGLAND have issued statements to say that bowling can commence (under strict guidelines).
